Garbage Finder 2.4 released

This is a really big update

This version is free for GOTD users (as it was promised).

What’s new

Improvements:

  • Windows folder is in skip list by default (prevent system damage)
  • Options GUI refactored (a bit)

Changes by GOTD feedback:

  • Text hint for buttons in Options
  • Never delete uninstall.log
  • Optimized for netbooks screen resolution (1024×600)
  • index.dat, desktop.ini files temporary removed, to reduce misunderstanding
  • Notifications for tray icon are removed (later will be realized with another ideology for better usability)

Bug fixes

  • Regional date settings sometimes processed incorrectly (Asia region)
  • Purchase and Registration key options are not hides after registration
  • “Cannot make a visible window modal” error message
  • Date format sometimes could not be parsed correctly
  • - Some Bugs in GUI
  • - Fixed uninstaller (Shortcut in registry deletes properly)
